Developed in 1993 AVA software implements the methodology and calculations worked out by SFSTP (Société Française des Sciences et Techniques Pharmaceutiques) on 1992 and closely follows ICH work. It offers an unweighted “linear regression” calibration model, with or without data transformation and performs all the statistical calculations as recommended in 1992 publication (Origin Y-intercept comparison with 0, significance of the slope, lack of fit, validity of averages, relative standard deviations…).
